ATTICA — Pauline D. (Solomon) Cooper, 86, Attica, died at 8:55 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, 2006 in Williamsport Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 17, 1920 in Warren County, the daughter of Finton and Minerva Jane (Fink) Solomon. She married Edward Thomas Cooper Feb. 21, 1942 in Williamsport. He was killed in action in 1945 during World War II. She attended school in Kramer and had lived most of her life in Attica. She loved to cook and liked to travel. Survivors include: a daughter, Lolene S. Pearl, Attica; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Connie L. Young; three sisters, Frances Nichols, Juanita Blankenship and Viola Pennick; and two brothers, Kenneth and Morgan Solomon. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday in Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with Pastor Bob Elness officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. – jlr
